Community Enrichment Program

The Community Enrichment Program provides opportunities to those individuals that are ordered to complete community service as a condition of their supervision and/or Court order.  In addition, this Program allows for those suffering from financial difficulty to work off their financial obligation to the Court at a rate of $15 per hour for every hour worked at any non-profit organization.  For Example: if you have a ticket that is $90, you would have to complete 6 hours community service ($15 x 6 hours community service = $90).  This must be preapproved by the Court.

Although the Community Enrichment Program was initially developed as an alternative to the Work Program, and then as a form of payment, we were able to tap into the same resources available from our nonprofit organizations, and profit organizations for that matter, providing citizens in need of assistance with the resources necessary to improve their quality of life.  If we can assist our residents and nonresidents with improving their quality of life, we will, in turn, enrich the community.

If you are having difficulty paying for a ticket, fines and costs, are required to complete community service or are in need of food, clothing, furniture, treatment, etc., contact Community Enrichment Program Supervisor, Avery Taylor, at (734) 941-4463 ext. 264 for more information.
